Something, indeed, was fishy with the Daily Login Incentive!
Twenty days after the program was introduced Ameba posts a statement about what I assume is a programming error that was preventing players from receiving any a complimentary Token every two weeks (14 days).
The two week mark came and went just shy of a week ago, and thanks to player complaints Ameba has provided what they call a “free gift from our Admins”. It’s not a free gift when you provide what you promise but forgot to do. It’s called doing your job. Don’t make it seem like you’re doing your customers a favour.
Players who log in today will be met with a ‘Sorry’ icon of a sobbing Chloe, instead of the usual misleading pile of gold. She is weeping at the incompetence of the Ameba team, I’m sure.
Click on the ‘Sorry’ icon and you will be given 1 Token after directly clicking the ‘Receive Price’ button on the apology info pop-up screen.
Is it just me or should this be automatically awarded as you click the ‘Sorry’ button and read this explanation? Why is it necessary to click another button?
As regular readers may know, my suspicions about this whole entire program were peaked by the fact that in the first 2 weeks of the incentive’s existence neither I nor anyone I knew had actually won any Ameba Gold from this new feature.
In Pigg, I am more frequently rewarded with the meagre 1AG amount.
Why is this? Has Ameba altered the programming of this feature so that Pico players receive incentives less frequently than Pigg players?
